Industrologic, Inc. announces the release of their UPDAC8, Universal Parallel 8 Bit Digital to Analog Converter Board.
The Industrologic UPDAC8 is a universal 8 bit parallel digital input to 4 analog output board assembly designed to add analog output capability to microcontroller and other logic circuits.
The UPDAC8 is based on the Texas Instruments TLC7226 chip with the addition of an on-board voltage reference and connection options that allow the chip to be used in a number of typical applications.
All signals on the board are available at screw terminal block connections for convenient wiring to nearly any circuit, and the 8 bit parallel input port is available on an 8 pin .1 inch header connector as well.
The digital inputs on the UPDAC8 are compatible with most logic level outputs on microcontroller boards and other logic circuits, and includes the 8 bit parallel input port, plus address and enable inputs for 4 output channels.
The UPDAC8 is available as a complete circuit board assembly, and can be enclosed in an optional ABS plastic enclosure. The circuit board is 2.75 by 4.25 by 0.6 inches, while the enclosure is 3.6 by 6.0 by 1.6 inches total size including mounting tabs.
