Industrologic, Inc., announces the release of version 2 software for their PDAS-3 data logger.
Beginning with version 2, the PDAS-3 data logger includes several new features:
In addition to recording 8 channels of 12 bit A/D data, version 2 software allows the PDAS-3 to be set up to record the serial data stream coming into its RS-232 port. This feature can be specified in the menu of commands, as well as the baud rate of this data, which can range from 300 to 19200 baud.
The new "help" screen in version 2 now includes commands that allow the operation of the PDAS-3 to be traced, and detailed information about the contents of the nonvolatile memory storage is now available.
Both the Windows and DOS communication programs for the PDAS-3 that run on PC compatible computers have been upgraded to version 2 as well, and include additional commands to download the serial data stream.
